About
Drake Thorsen - Has been an actor, musician and cowboy all his life. Starting out as a cowboy in the USA and then was photographed by a Portland Oregon fashion photographer in a chance meeting. He quit working as a cowboy for a while to try to make some money in fashion and acting and moved to Los Angeles, then on to Europe, Italy and Germany and New York and later to Russia and Australia.
Working with the world's top designers, like Versace, Gian Franco Ferre, and photographers like Herb Ritts and Barbieri. Thorsen appeared in 50 or 60 major television commercials and appeared on the daytime TV show Santa Barbara and with comedian Yuri Stoyanov in St Petersburg, Russia.
During this time he also worked as the Road Manager for the gold record making entertainer, Johnny Rivers for four years and occasionally sitting in with the Rick Whitfield band as second guitar. Sometimes several times a week.
Having the wild west in his blood he often returned to work as a cowboy on the huge all horseback working ranches of the western USA in anonymity.
